Tyler Ward, B.A., M.A., J.D.

PRESIDENT & CEO

Mr. Ward has a Bachelor degree in Political Science from York University, a Masters in Health Policy from York University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Ottawa, and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

He has over fifteen years of experience in the Canadian education sector, including working as an education consultant and educator for students ranging from elementary school to the graduate level. Additionally, Mr. Ward is a Canada Course for Education Graduate with International Consultants for Education and Fairs GmbH (ICEF).

During his career, Mr. Ward has been active in health policy initiatives on a national level and advised health organizations in Canada and Europe. Under his leadership as the President and CEO of a national tobacco control organization, they successfully lobbied the University of Toronto to become the first post-secondary institution in Canada to divest their tobacco industry holdings. In another precedent-setting achievement, the organization also encouraged the University of Alberta School of Public Health to stop accepting tobacco industry funding.

Mr. Ward’s passion for education and health policy extends beyond his work and into community involvement. He is an instructor with ESL cafes and sits as a board member on a health policy organization.

Darius Djawadi, B.A., E.M.B.A., J.D.

VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT

Darius Djawadi is a Toronto-based immigration and criminal defence lawyer. He is a former partner at MacGregor Moriah Horic LLP, a prominent litigation firm based in Toronto.

Mr. Djawadi has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses with Canadian immigration matters.

In his capacity as in-house counsel, Mr. Djawadi assists with legal advice, all legal counsel, business development, and marketing outreach. Mr. Djawadi is also the Vice President of Development for Bloomsborough Consulting, overseeing its growth and development in overseas markets.

Furthermore, he has owned and operated numerous international businesses involved in facilitating product distribution and purchase financing. Mr. Djawadi has in-depth experience assisting organizations in business setup and administration and negotiating complex commercial contracts domestically and abroad. Mr. Djawadi is intimately familiar with all aspects involved, including business organization and corporate governance.

Before being called to the bar, Mr. Djawadi graduated from the University of Ottawa Law and has both worked and articled for Greenspan Partners LLP’s esteemed firm.

There he had the privilege of working directly with Edward L. Greenspan Q.C. on multiple cases, including the Red Cross Tainted Blood Case and Schreiber vs. Canada and numerous other prominent litigations.

Maha Waseem

INDEPENDENT EDUCATION AGENT

As someone who was initially an international student herself, Maha is keen on assisting others to accomplish similar goals. She is an avid researcher with several years of experience working in Middle Eastern markets including the United Arab Emirates. Maha has a BA in Advertising, PR and Media from Middlesex University and an MSc in Management from Ryerson University. Additionally, Ms. Waseem is a Canada Course for Education Graduate with International Consultants for Education and Fairs GmbH (ICEF).

Waleed K. Abdulabbas M.A., PhD Candidate

INDEPENDENT EDUCATION AGENT

Waleed is a PhD researcher at the University of Babylon in Hillah, Iraq. He holds an M.A. in TESOL from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in California. Waleed has many years of international education experience and is an English Distant Learning and EFL instructor.

Shima Saberi

INDEPENDENT IELTS INSTRUCTOR

Shima Saberi is a TESL Canada and TESL Ontario certified ESL teacher and IELTS tutor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature. She has over 15 years of experience in teaching English to adult learners.
